The official beginning of Four Things Paper began when I designed and printed invitations for my wedding in 2011 but my love for art, design and lettering started waaay before then.
When I was young I remember being obsessed with quotes, typography, lyrics and had way too many baby name books for a kid to have but I never imagined that my love for type could blossom into an actual career.

I live in Southern California married to my high school sweetheart raising our
fur child - Amos.
The name Four Things Paper was inspired by a quote by author Deanna Wadsworth:

"There are FOUR THINGS you can't recover,
the stone after the throw,
the word after it's said,
the occasion after it's missed
and time after it's gone."
​
I fell in love with this quote because it reminds me to make everything in life count so that's why I love to paint, hand-letter and design things that celebrate all the
good stuff.
